Did a couple of menu item and component switching. Had to get rid of the wrapper function in the Image menu for Coppermine Photo Gallery and created a url link so the user can browse the gallery in full screen. The wrapper was hindering some of the features of Coppermine and you all need to see it in full view to really appeciate it.

In place of the Image menu item i had moved the Expose photo flash gallery so all Joomla component will be group together...makes sense huh? (rrriiiigggghhtt....hohum... )

That right! It will be the last deciding factor. Should I stick with my current host of switch to a different host?

I have been cleaning the root directory of my server to prepare it for the Joomla main directory migration. If the htaccess file works and should it self-fix the error that keeps popping up on me AND if the whole site loads up faster then I'll stay.

If not - next month will have to say goodbye to my host and start to move forward.

Just finished installing two joomla gallery component. Joomnik & Expose'. Both install completed without any problems! wow! now i don't have the heart to uninstall both component. Joomnik is more like a straightforward photo album with simple interface. Expose' is a little more robust than Joomnik because it uses flash technology. Lots more option to tweak whereas Joomnik settings can be adjusted via CSS.

Still need to printout the manual to really utilized this new add on and decide which photo albums should i publish in public.

I was a little worried yesterday when I tried to view this site and it gave me an error 401.

First thing that came to my mind was that my site got compromised. Got a little depressed cuz' I had put a little bit of time on this eventhough it still looks like crap to me but still a personal work.

Network Sol ution sucks in hosting Joomla so still on the holding pattern on where to switch. Last time I spoke to their tech dept they basically told me that the settings I wanted for Joomla to function seamlessly will not work for them.  I'm still hoping for Joomla to come up with an update but I guess I'll be leaving Network Solution soon..
