Movies I Liked

Some of the movies that I seen and would like to recommend. Most of them (or probably all of them will be martial arts movies.

Ong Bak2 (2008)

Not sure how Ong Bak 1: The Warrior time period is the present and they created Ong Bak 2: The Beginning set in 15th-century Thailand.  Not so happy about the ending but great fighting scenes! Also, the good thing is that Ong Bak 3 should be coming out this 2010!

Quickie Note:

Tien (Tony Jaa), the son of Lord Sihadecho -- a tragically murdered nobleman -- goes under the wing of Chernang (Sorapong Chatree), a renowned warrior and leader of the Pha Beek Krut who teaches Tien a variety of deadly fighting styles. Now a master of weapons and combat, Tien seeks out those who slayed his family. Jaa also directs and Sarunyu Wongkrachang co-stars in this martial arts thriller set in 15th-century Thailand.

Tony Jaa

Flash Point (2007)

Brutal martial arts sequence! A lot of combination Muay Thai, jujitsu, grapling and hold-take downs.

Quickie Note:

Action masters Wilson Yip and Donnie Yen deliver nonstop martial arts thrills in this tale of triad gang warfare in pre-handover Hong Kong. Reckless Detective Ma (Yen) threatens the careful work of his partner, Wilson (Louis Koo), who's finally infiltrated a notorious triad gang. As the operation begins to collapse, Ma enters the fray to go one-on-one against the triad leader (Collin Chou) before he takes over the streets.
